Dear Lord,
I pray that as we feed our bodies, we will feed our spirits. That as we provide our earthly bodies with nutrients, we’ll nourish our spirits with the Word of God. That as we are committed to building physical muscles, that we’ll grow our spiritual muscles through faith and trials which produce perseverance. Lord I pray that as we glow up in the physical, our souls and spirits are glowed up as well. That just as we are “bossed” up on earth, we are “bossed” up in the spiritual. Because it’d be a travesty for us to be advancing on earth but have no treasures in Heaven. It’ll be a travesty for us to be strong on the outside, but weak and battered on the inside. BUT praise God that our story isn’t one of defeat but of victory. That even if right now we are spiritually weak, we have hope that You are a God of restoration. Help us set our eyes on things above and have an eternity mindset. Above all let us know that we CANNOT do anything good apart from You and that You are a good father who will provide our needs for this race we have to run. Thank you for loving us so well. Let us have both a physical and spiritual glow up in Jesus name! Amen.
